America’s financial system is designed to reward bad business. The PIES Economy is here to flip the script.
The PIES Economy℠ is designed from the ground up as a framework for a “Mission Economy” [1]. All businesses that join the PIES Economy℠ will meet the following criteria:
They are mission-driven
We believe profit is the prize for achieving a valuable mission, but when your mission is profit, you’re not likely to achieve anything valuable. Good business starts with good missions.
They have strong values
Good leadership relies on strong intrinsic values to guide teams towards their mission. While we believe in establishing and respecting core values simply for the sake of doing what’s right, most economists agree that ethical businesses outperform profit-first businesses in the long-run. [2] [3]
They pledge to uphold the PIES Economic Bill of Rights
A requirement of joining the PIES Economy℠ and debuting on the PIES Exchange℠ is agreeing to support our economic bill of rights. Inspired by President F.D. Roosevelt’s vision of economic prosperity, we believe a modern economic model needs a modern standards for the rights of American workers. [4] [5]

These standards are set democratically by the shareholders of PIES℠.
